Model release and copyright

If an an agency, company or brand wants to use an image that allready exist for their advert, magazine etc they will need to payy the person who took the picture a fee called copyright. Model releases are crucial throught the whole world, especially when a phtograph or image of a reognisable person e.g. celebrity, of any age, is used in advertising. Even if the face of the erson is not vsble but the person is capable of being identified because of things like markings or if a celebrity has a special tatoo everyone knows. A silhouette of a person if it can be identified from its location People in crowd shits, if that person iss considered to be the focus of the shot e.g. the person advertising something e.g. fizzy drink etc. The product being advertised is immaterial.Whether its makeup, perfume, banking, health care or product ackaging, a release is required from the person who will obviosuly appear to endorse the product. Models under the age of 16 will require a prent or legal guardian's signature.(and need to fill out a model release form). If say a family go and have a photshoot e.g. at hannah cousens they are shown the pictures on the computer with the companys water mark on the image which hinders the quality of the image and to get rid of the water mark the customer will need to pay them to take it off.

How my advert fits all the CAP codes used by the ASA

My advert, fits all the CAPcodes used by the ASA because my advert does not mislead the consumer in anyway the roses are an indication of the scent of my perfume which will be rosesand not another completely different smell. Additionally, the picture of the
perfume bottle on the advert has not been changed in any way to mislead the buyer it will look exactly how it looks on the advert when they purchase it e.g. it wont be different colour or shape. Additionally, the price is on the advert in a reasonable size text which will not mislead the reader and also the + vat is their so the consumer knows their will be additional charges on top of the £34, so they no in advance that their will be extra charges and also this shows how my advert doesn’t mislead people with hiding that there are hidden charges.
