To answers the five question which were most popular game console and top five games ,what radio station people listen to and there favourite DJ, number of times people visit the cinema and the last film they saw , also how many people have satellite televisions and how many hours they watch in an average week and lastly which social networking site people use and how many contacts they have on it .
I collected my data , by putting down each question and underneath i put different boxes for them to tick, this is called quantitative data. For other questions which is classed as qualitative data , i gave them a box to put there answer in .
I collected my answers,by going around my class and given them each a questionnaire.
Afterwards I recorded my answers on Microsoft excel. I put each question and possible answers in columns one after each other. afterwards for each persons questionnaire, i put the data in by using a y to represent a tick , and wrote there qualitative questions in longer columns which took longer .
I then collated this data by ordering it by using data sort , for specific information i needed to answer the five questions. The quantitative data , was easy to count up, however the qualitative data took much longer.
1M1 You have explained your work very well and you know the difference between quantitative and qualitative data. It would be useful to give a summary of the answers to the research questions here as well.
